This week we have tried to advance further from our own thoughts and prespectives and tried thinking outside of the box.
Giving out random ideas that just came from the first thought in our heads was sincerely funny at first, but as we kept going with it, we actually did come to realize how amazing the potential of it was - as a way to find new ideas, to a way to come together as a group and bond within us, and finally as a way to move forward - specifically in our task or generally in life, when you get to a place when you are out of ideas and need a fresh prespective.
After giving out random and specifically related solutions to our question -
"How might we help Ben reduce negative feelings?"
We have divided the suggestions by 3 different groups: Interpersonal communication, Hobbies and Ways to relax\cope with the situation:

1. Interpersonal communication:
Interpersonal communication is an exchange of information between two or more people. It is also an area of research that seeks to understand how humans use verbal and nonverbal cues to accomplish a number of personal and relational goals.
Interpersonal communication research addresses at least six categories of inquiry:
1) how humans adjust and adapt their verbal communication and nonverbal communication during face-to-face communication.
2) how messages are produced.
3) how uncertainty influences behavior and information-management strategies.
6) social interactions that are mediated by technology.
2. Hobbies:
Humans are surprisingly good at filtering out the positive and focusing on the negative. It’s natural, but it’s not helpful!
If you notice you are paying too much attention to the negative, pause and refocus onto the positive. You can practice by doing one small, positive activity every day, focusing on the good parts of the activity as you do it. Ignore minor issues and notice the enjoyment, pleasure, and fun!
a relatively small, positive activity for example is a taking a new hobbie or investing time in a hobby you already have, may brighten your day

3. Ways to relax\cope with the situation:
As times move on and we grow up we understand that we were not born into this world with the entire skill-set to understand, cope and benefit from every aspect in it, and in order to do just that - we need to learn new things, to try and fail, to broaden our minds think differently.
And as much as it is important, that much is it hard to start moving out of your "mental box", so at the saying goes - "baby steps" is required.
In order to do so making random choices for a person who is always on control would be appropriate, or schedualing a specific time for most to every action would be good for a carefree person.
In our case we had thrown ideas and each and every one of those would be a suitable way to either broaden the mind or maintain it even by a simple conversation or reflection.
furthermore trying out a new thing you never did - or haven't done in a while, which would make you concetrate on just that - studies have shown that by distracting yourself a bit from the problems, you can alleviate yourself and later on when you will come back to them, it will be easier.
To summarize this week -
We had alot of fun learning a new way how to get out of a pickle, boarden the mind and while doing all of those - bonding together as a group.
